You can catch the shuttle in Downton Bar Harbor, at 317 Main St, 2 Blocks up from the YMCA and Ballfield. The pickup area is at the Sunoco Station, between Pat’s Pizza and Everyday Joe’s.
Boarding is 5-10 minutes before the shuttle leaves at the top of the hour.You can also catch the Shuttle at the Cadillac Mountain Summit area across the street from the gift shop in the Bus Parking Zone.
We also offer Pickups from the Hull’s Cove Visitor Center. These pickups are ON DEMAND ONLY. Please Call or Text (207) 669-2476 to schedule a pickup and we will come get you.
The pickup area is located at the far back of the Visitor Center parking lot, near the entrance to the Carriage Road walking trails, on the grassy knoll. There is no sign, so just look for our van which will be well marked. -
The Shuttle departs Bar Harbor roughly every hour at the top of the hour and departs the Cadillac Mountain Summit every hour on the half hour.
Shuttle times may vary by 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic and weather conditions. Check our schedules or call (207) 669 - 2476 for accurate, up to date information.

For normal Day Service, the Shuttle accepts payment on board.
We prefer cash, but cards, apple pay, and most contactless payments are also accepted.
We offer Round Trip tickets as well as One Way tickets for Hikers who want to hike up and ride down, or vice versa.Standard Day Service Fare:

You do not need a Cadillac Mountain Summit Area Reservation to ride the Shuttle.
However, all visitors to Acadia National Park must have a Park Entrance Pass, and these passes are required to ride the Shuttle.
All forms of Park Entrance Pass are accepted, including the Vehicle Entrance Pass, Senior Passes, Interagency Annual Passes, and Acadia Annual Passes. These are valid for up to 4 passengers that are traveling together. Please bring proof of these passes with you when riding the Shuttle.

We only accept reservations for our Sunrise and Sunset trips.
Please call or text (207) 669-2476 to book your spot. Large groups are also encouraged to contact us to book in advance. 2025 Online Bookings Coming Soon!During normal Day Service, the Shuttle operates on a 1st come, 1st served basis with round trip ticket holders having priority.
We don’t take reservations during our normal Day Service. -
Yes! We are dog friendly and have a dog kennel in the back of the shuttle.
There is room for 2 Dogs per trip. All dogs must ride in the kennel. Dogs cost and additional $5.00 to ride with us. -
We offer safe, top of the line, “all in one” safety car seats for infants and toddlers.
Parents will need to install the car seats into our van to ensure proper use. We normally have 1 car seat available per trip, but can get more if needed. Please contact (207) 669-2476.
